Blackpool is on the up when it comes to getting business ideas off the ground.
In 2017, more than 70 enterprises were launched in the resort, from one-man bands to companies which have expanded to other parts of the UK.
Central to this success is the work of Blackpool Unlimited, the council’s business support team which has a team of experts and access to some of the best tools for all types of trades.
Since 2013, Happy has worked on numerous marketing campaigns, designed and developed its website and provided content, provided branded materials, PR and social media support for the business support service.
The continued relationship will see Happy work on all marketing elements for Blackpool Unlimited, working with their in-house team on focusing on its two business hubs, start-up businesses, growth and investment in firms in the resort which is home to some of the most exciting firms on the Fylde.
Blackpool Unlimited experienced one of its most successful events last year when it hosted the town’s Enterprise Week, taking over some the biggest venues in town to host activities aimed at helping companies grow.
Experts from across all industries gave keynote speeches in front of hundreds of delegates with PR and social media support provided by Happy.
This year, Blackpool Unlimited has already seen tenant growth in its two enterprise hubs, along with a number of people coming through the doors at the Enterprise Centre and FY Creatives with business ideas.
David Slater, business growth manager at Blackpool Unlimited, said: “Working with Happy has always been an enjoyable experience, it has also been highly productive for us, helping to create greater demand for all our services.”
Through the help of Happy campaigns, BU has also seen a spike in interest for its office and meeting rooms service, EC2, which provides everything from hot-desking to office rent at its centres.← Back To Blog
