Choosing a favourite campaign is like choosing a favourite record or film, there’s just too many to choose from. Instead, Happy has dipped into its selection box of clients over the past 10 years to present some of our most memorable ones!
For one of north’s leading pharmacy chains we introduced the world to the Whitties, a family for the pharmacy rebrand. You can still see the award-winning faces on marketing literature and vans across the UK. We are really chuffed with this particular family as they really feel part of Happy’s extended family!
Of all the many marketing collateral we have produced over the decade this really stands out for its sheer simplicity yet striking visuals and thought-provoking copy. From the words inside to the images and what the brand represents, we were honoured to have produced such a fantastic piece of corporate literature.
Being part of any NHS campaign is something to be proud of but one which speaks out for those who have no voice (as yet) was a real thrill for us. Little Voice was about an unborn child’s thoughts on the mum he or she is yet to meet. We created “Old Smoke Tales” which made fiction of the facts that we used many years ago when people smoked throughout pregnancy without a second thought for the problems it could cause for their child. A taboo subject we handled with care and respect.
Local, Lancashire through and through and a rebrand that wanted to show off its roots as well as being clever in what it portrays. We have done many rebrands over the past 10 years but, being part of the red rose county ourselves, we love what is says in a simple, yet very effective logo.
Law firm Napthens has been a long-term member of the Happy family of clients. Their first rebrand in 2008 had pride of place on our Happy wall and in the pages of many trade magazines. Napthens’ strapline “Rely on us” was created by the Happy team and it has become their strength when dealing with complex family and business dealings. We continue to produce their marketing collateral.
A county firm with a global reach. Their innovative approach to marketing gave us the chance to spread our wings and we produced support for their overseas distributors in Asia Pacific, supplying them with effective tools to issue their ActivClassroom campaigns with ease. It’s uniqueness was what made it a success, a campaign in a box. We still think it’s a genius idea!
As world leaders in pump technology, Mono needed effective marketing and we were able to provide them with a unique approach to match their brand. Using an egg box as direct marketing to potential advocates, backed up by a digital campaign, Mono could tell their story in a different way with a cutting edge approach not seen by its competitors.
Who doesn’t love pink? This rebrand involved us producing a new logo and a glossy catalogue packed full of unique gifts for little ones, from dressing up as princesses and fairies to party ideas. It was great to work on such a fun brand and know that parents would get so much inspiration from the ideas.
Cambridge University Press (2011)
The world recently celebrated World Literacy Day and with almost 200 million people in Asia still illiterate we worked with the world’s leading academics to produce animation and infographics on how teaching English can help solve this problem. Providing an ethical solution to a problem many first world countries take for granted gave us great satisfaction.
We wanted the Dukes to stand out from other theatrical sites. Giving it a bold and fresh approach but friendly at the same time was a great project for us. The Dukes have been thrilled with the finished project and we are proud to have created it.
And where would we be without….
ADI Gardiner (2005), our very first client and maiden campaign. We produced their in-house trade magazine, Spotlight, which focused on its many security devices and gave prospective buyers an insight in how to keep their company safe.
