“Living and breathing what you believe is a powerful and wonderful thing, and you show us all how to do that.” So says the Academy of Chief Executives as Happy-in-Chief, Karen Lambert is named Member of the Year 2014.
The Academy of Chief Executives is an organisation of 400+ CEOs who all share something in common other than business leadership: they’re all passionate about helping others share their success.
And according to her group peers, no member has done more to embody the spirit of Academy membership than Karen. Academy Chair, Sarah McDowell said, “What can I say – our member of the year. Thank you for bringing happiness, warmth, energy, talent, passion and commitment to our group.”
Karen, a member since 2010, won the title through her warmth of personality, insightful questioning, and a caring approach to members in general, and new members in particular.
Karen said she was proud and delighted to receive the award. “To be thought of so highly by such wonderful, talented people is truly humbling. I am honoured.”
