According to research from the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), published in December 2024, only one in four UK businesses give to charity.

That figure has been making headlines again recently. It’s a surprising figure and for The Happies it’s also a reminder of why we do what we do.

Because for us, giving back isn’t a nice-to-have or something reserved for special occasions, it’s part of who we are. As a marketing agency whose purpose is spreading happiness, we believe business should play an active role in making a difference.

And giving back takes many shapes here. Sometimes it’s supporting a charity directly with donations, sometimes it’s donating our time and skills, and sometimes it’s backing our team, our Happy friends, and our partners with their own fundraising efforts.
