Discovery
We need to understand who you are, what you do and what you want your website to achieve. We don’t mean a quick, superficial understanding; we mean a real under-the-bonnet understanding that means we can design and build a website that really works for you.
We’ll question and clarify and (gently) probe you for your thoughts so we’re completely clear about your website project.
Design concepts
Always the most exciting part for our clients, once your wireframes are approved we add the creative design that brings the website to life. We’ll develop each design concept based on what we’ve discovered about you, your brand and your target audience. We’ll add imagery that’s a perfect match for your brand and choose calls to action that drive clicks.
Content
We’re a bit obsessive about website content. It needs to be just right – not too much, not too little, the right mix of sales and story – and always the right tone for your brand. If you’re providing the content we’ll agree timescales for you to get that to us so it keeps the website build on track.
If you’d prefer our experienced writers to do that for you, they’ll ensure your website reads as good as it looks.
Training
The reason we work with particular content management systems is that they are the ones experience tells us are the easiest to get to grips with, and the ones that let you do everything you need, quickly and simply.
There’s no substitute for getting stuck in, so we’ll be with you while you dive in, have a play, and learn how to add new products, pages, images and copy.
Momentum
A website is a lot like your house. There’s always something you want to refresh. Always a new project to tackle. The content management system will help make keeping your site a living, breathing, ever-evolving asset easy.
Behind the scenes, we’ll be with you to do as much or as little as you need. We’d advise technical maintenance to protect you against hacking.
