Happy Creative has formed a partnership with Blackpool-based homeless charity, Streetlife.
The creative agency is to support the charity with public relations consultancy work on a number of campaigns they are running in a bid to raise the profile of Streetlife on the Fylde.

Happy Creative will be helping Streetlife as it aims to raise more than £120,000 in order to run its two centres in Blackpool, The Shelter on St John’s Square and The Base on Buchanan Street.
Streetlife provides support and shelter for young people between the ages of 16 and 25 to enable them to make informed choices about their situation and issues which affect their lives. The two centres are run with a small team of paid staff and a large number of volunteer volunteers which allows the nightshelter to open 365 days a year to support young people who find themselves homeless through various life issues.
Around 30 volunteers help run the two centres who have a variety of roles with some of them working with the young people while on a gap year. They provide them with life skills which will help them moving on in their lives and they have seen a number of young people who have used their services go on to achieve great things in the face of adversity.
Streetlife is dependent on charitable donations from the public and its partners and sponsors across Blackpool.
Claudia Ryan-Jones, day centre co-ordinator at Streetlife, said: “More than 400 young people come through the doors of our centres every year, all with different backgrounds and problems and we do our best to support them moving forward with their lives.
“Sometimes homeless people are demonised by sections of society but we believe everyone who comes through our doors has a chance to make something out of their lives and we do all we can to make sure they achieve this.
“Having Happy Creative to support our campaigns will help us to help the young people of Blackpool. Their expertise and guidance is very much appreciated and we look forward to working with them.”
Karen Lambert, managing director of Happy, said: “From our initial meeting there was a feeling amongst the team that Streetlife was a charity that helped young vulnerable people make the most of their lives and we believe very strongly in that.
“By offering them one of our services we hope many young people in Blackpool can go onto overcome adversity and prosper in life.”
