Happy Adds Branding
Polish to Shine
New branding is raising awareness of a local recruitment agency with a difference.
Shine is a unique recruitment service for Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. Operated by Blackpool Council, Shine connects local businesses with local candidates. There are lots of benefits (for candidates and companies) that choose Shine, but what really makes the difference is that it’s a not for profit service. Any profits made are invested straight back into our local community.
For candidates, many of whom may have been out of work for extended periods of time, Shine’s work placements offer access to training and support that can help them secure long term employment.
And for responsible local businesses, every placement is a way of connecting with great local talent whilst supporting the local community and demonstrating a real commitment to social values.
Creating a message that makes a difference
The message is clearly resonating with the local business community, driven by Happy’s work in providing a simple yet effective tweak to the existing brand to create Shine Recruitment. We’ve also created the brand collateral, PR, content creation (including blogs and video content) and social media management to give the agency a corporate, professional look that raises awareness and generates enquiries.
Happily effortless
Aimi O’Donnell, Employer Relationship Manager at Shine Recruitment, said, “I think the most surprising aspect of the whole process is how effortless working with Happy has been. They really took the time to understand us and, since then, they have been totally proactive in creating content, messages, collateral, and developing our online presence.”
“They have given us a distinctive, corporate look that is already making a real difference when we meet businesses – and it’s generating real traction in establishing us as a very different recruitment prospect. We’re looking forward to continuing our work with Happy so that more people know about what we’re doing and why we’re different.”
This isn’t the first time Happy has worked with Blackpool Council Services. We’re already heavily involved with the marketing of Blackpool Unlimited and Public Health Blackpool initiatives.
For Chief Happy, Karen Lambert, Shine represents a unique opportunity. “It’s always great to work with an organisation that has ‘giving back’ at its core, and that’s especially the case when the cause is so close to home. Being able to support Shine in delivering such an important message means a lot to us, because it means so much the people in our town.”
