Remember when you were just nine years old? Remember the sense of anticipation you felt when you were just a few weeks away from becoming double figures for the first time?
I do, fair enough it was a while ago now but while the grey hairs have appeared and my knowledge of the world has increased (sort of) I still remember how it felt to complete my first decade on this planet. A person turning 10 is a big deal but for a business it’s even bigger.
Here at Happy Creative the team is readying itself to reach that milestone. A lot has changed in the past decade, some faces have gone and new ones have joined the increasing ranks but Happy’s philosophy of delivering happiness, creativity and positivity has remained intact, and it’s something we intend of delivering over the next decade.
This is starting to sound like a sermon and believe me, it isn’t. It’s really a pat on the back for all creative businesses out there, the only time businesses like ours tend to get any credit is when we put our head above the parapit and shout about our big client wins, after that the client does all the shouting. In many cases we are the silent partner which grins to ourselves when we can see the hard work we have put in paying off in dividends.
Which is the real reason we are so chuffed to say Happy is 10! Had it not been for our hard work and dedication to our clients then we wouldn’t be blowing up the balloons and putting out the bunting.
It’s a time to celebrate but also a time to reflect, just ask Happy Karen, Happy Simon and Happy James who have been here from the start and have seen the landscape of agencies changing over the decade. The number of them springing up has given businesses a competitive edge and clients harder to bring on board. Happy has had to adapt to an ever-changing market and has done so by bringing in experts in their own fields. It is something Happy is very proud of and something it will continue to thrive upon.
For now though, it’s all systems go for Happy’s milestone – a decade might have flown but so much has been achieved and there is so much to look forward to.
Here’s to the next 10!
