Happy’s Wooden Spoon Pledge

We’re delighted to announce our support of the charity Wooden Spoon Lancashire. Founded in 1983 by a group of rugby players who wanted to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children, Wooden Spoon is a national charity, run by a network of voluntary regional committees across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Every pound they raise is invested in local projects supporting children and young people who suffer from disability, disadvantage or are vulnerable.

Wooden Spoon Lancashire raises funds which are distributed to West Coast Lancashire organisations to help with IT equipment, hydrotherapy pools, playgrounds, wheelchair lifts, outdoor adventure spaces and much more, as well as donating to Blackpool Foodbank.

As part of our support, Happy Creative will be providing pro bono social media services to help the charity raise awareness and raise much-needed funds. This will include social media consultancy, creating engaging content, and sharing posts.
