We’re happy to share that we have been appointed by Wyre Council to raise awareness of the Wyre Moving More strategy aimed at promoting increased physical activity among residents in the borough.
This follows a successful bid in a competitive tender process, where we will work alongside Carol Southern,Leisure, Healthy Lifestyles & Communities Manager, and Bethan McDonough, Senior Communications Officer, and their respective teams.
Our partnership kicked off with an immersive workshop where Happy’s Karen, James, Krisztina and Mike facilitated exercises to get deep clarity on the target audience and campaign objectives. We then crafted a distinctive and eye-catching identity tailored specifically for the campaign. Currently, we are in the process of finalising the campaign theme and style in preparation for a stakeholder launch scheduled to take place at Fleetwood Town’s Highbury Stadium in June.
The Wyre Moving More Strategy is a comprehensive five-year initiative that represents a collaborative, multi-agency effort led by Wyre Council. The strategy is designed to empower residents to lead healthier, happier, and more connected lives through increased physical activity. Embracing a holistic approach, the strategy adopts a whole-system perspective to tackle physical inactivity at its core, making exercise and movement more accessible and inclusive for all residents.
The integrated marketing campaign we’re developed has multiple elements including style and identity development, social media management, content creation, the creation of a microsite, the production of various digital and printed assets as well as PR and event support. The overarching goal is to raise awareness through engaging stakeholders and implementing innovative marketing initiatives in the Wyre community.
Chief Happy, Karen Lambert, said “By implementing a community-wide culture of active living, the Wyre Moving More Strategy aims to not only enhance physical health but also to promote emotional well-being and social cohesion among residents, ultimately creating a vibrant and thriving community. We’re delighted to be a key partner in its delivery and have the opportunity to help influence community well-being and health outcomes.”
