For those who are about to rock…we salute you!
All kids love music, whether they are singing along to nursery rhymes, belting out Let It Go at the top of their lungs or playing air guitar to AC/DC.
Founded in 1990, Rockschools was set up by David Taylor to encourage young musicians to gain the social and technical skills and the confidence to play in a rock band. It offers aspiring musicians a ground-breaking training opportunity based on an inspirational philosophy and was the first of its kind in the UK.
The award-winning business has already had some success with several children picking up a plectrum, banging away on their own drumsticks and becoming more confident to have the swagger of Mick Jagger and the stage presence of Freddie Mercury.
To help their brand to the top of the charts, Rockschools needed some funky marketing so approached Happy Creative and tuned up their designer’s creativity to 11. The result reflects what Rockschools aims to promote – learning new skills through music.
Parents of youngsters who have attended Rockschool’s interactive lessons have told David how much their kids have progressed under his tutoring, helping them release new energy and creativity and helping them to focus on a new found talent and forge new friendships.
David said: “We have been thrilled with the success of Rockshools. There is no doubt that is fun but our ultimate aim is that our students are inspired to create music and develop confidence in their abilities.
“This new leaflet, designed and produced by our friends at Happy, will help spread the word for us in our local community and hopefully help us to find the next generation of rock stars.”
So, in the next decade, the next Taylor Swift or Ed Sheeran could come from Rockschools!
